Puck, The Scud Missile,
now roams GlenLyon as The Boss Dog. She's an enormously bright Aussie
and has all the qualities of the breed and her mentor: loyalty,
affection, energy and herding instincts.
Just like her predecessor,
she also takes her jobs at GlenLyon very seriously, whether it’s
racing Squire or Roberto through the vineyards on the 4-Trak, leading
the tractor up and down the hills, riding shotgun in the ’54
Chevy on the way to the dump, herding rabbits (or the FedEx man),
catching gophers, chasing birds or tracking turkeys. Also like Corky,
she’s also a good test for grape ripeness. She loves the berries
after about 18 brix....
Puck is the Happiest Dog on
the Planet.

Any of you who may have visited GlenLyon since
1988 knew Corky, The Wonder Dog. She was the first
Australian Shepherd at GlenLyon and we all still miss her.
Suzy, Lexy, Squire, Janice
and Roberto were all at her side when she passed away just before
the 2002 Harvest at the ripe old age of 15. She's buried in the
upper vineyard site with her dog dish and collar.
We miss her. Puck included.
